Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with team leads and product owners to understand and address low to moderately complex business needs, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform a variety of data analysis, ETL, and data preparation tasks with minimal supervision.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines while collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to meet data requirements.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies, and work with other data engineers to ensure technical excellence in areas such as data profiling, mapping documentation, and performance tuning.
- Develop, test, and integrate code for new or existing software applications while adhering to source code revision control practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software reliability and performance issues in a timely manner.
- Review requirements, specifications, and design documents, and develop and implement tests to ensure product quality and performance assurance.
- Contribute to the development and review of technical end-user documentation to support system understanding and usability.
- Drive idea generation for new software products or enhancements to existing solutions, supporting continuous innovation and improvement.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Basic understanding of ETL processes with familiarity or hands-on experience using tools such as Airflow or Informatica.
- Working knowledge of Python programming for data manipulation, automation, and workflow optimization.
- Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and their practical applications.
- Awareness of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka, along with exposure or hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, ADF, Synapse, and SQL Server.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline from a reputed institution.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation and automation, and solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of product data management and product lifecycle management (PLM) concepts.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
