Key Responsibilities:
Role:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize complex datasets and support data-driven business decisions.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights using Power Query and DAX.
- Design and implement efficient data models with appropriate relationships, hierarchies, and calculated measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver customized business intelligence solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting layers.
- Engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their data visualization and analytical requirements.
Profile:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts, creating visually appealing and insightful reports.
- Integrate Power BI reports and dashboards into other applications to enhance business functionality.
- Develop custom visualizations and implement row-level security to control data access.
- Build optimized data models and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
- Create and maintain tabular and multidimensional models in line with data warehouse standards.
- Collaborate with application developers to design and implement Power BI data visualizations.
- Utilize advanced DAX functions to perform complex calculations and derive meaningful insights.
- Test and validate formulas, reports, and visualizations to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Document development processes, methodologies, and best practices for future reference and scalability.
