Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of materials for various automobile applications.
- Support material testing activities and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) for material or process-related failures.
- Maintain, organize, and update material data sheets, test reports, and analysis interpretations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Freshers eligible).
- Strong understanding of material science fundamentals, preferably in metallic materials.
- Basic knowledge of material properties and common processing methods such as casting, forging, welding, and machining.
- Proficiency in material characterization techniques, including mechanical, chemical, and microstructural analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an engineering team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Coursework or laboratory experience in metallurgy, mechanical testing equipment, and spectroscopic analysis.
- Hands-on experience with material testing and microscopy is considered an added advantage.
