Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in analysis of less complex data issues to identify and resolve data quality or integrity problems, as well as process or control gaps.
- Adhere to established data governance standards, policies, and procedures.
- Identify key data quality metrics and perform regular data quality audits to benchmark and assess the current state of data quality.
- Design and monitor data governance, data quality, and metadata management policies, standards, tools, and procedures to ensure effective data control and remediation across the organization.
- Support documentation activities by preparing materials related to requirements, design decisions, issue resolution, and remediation updates.
- Assist in issue remediation by conducting medium-risk data profiling, business or data analysis, and data mapping to support root cause and impact analysis.
- Provide support for regulatory reporting and compliance-related data analysis requirements.
- Recommend strategies for developing and implementing initiatives to evaluate the quality of new data sources.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams or subject matter experts to document and maintain business or technical metadata for systems, data elements, and related data controls.
- Consult with clients to assess the current state of data quality within assigned areas of responsibility and recommend improvement measures.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management, or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in BSA-AML regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization or reporting tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience in Data Quality Assurance and Data Governance processes.
- Basic technical skills in Python, SQL, and other data analysis tools are an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and program management skills.
