Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement detailed test plans and test cases for AI-based applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security meet defined standards and requirements.
- Conduct rigorous testing on AI-based applications, including generative models, AI assistants/agents, and machine learning algorithms, to evaluate their effectiveness, accuracy, and usability.
- Identify, document, and report defects, bugs, and AI behavior anomalies; test for response consistency, context understanding, and relevance of outputs, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.
- Develop and implement automated test scripts for AI models to ensure scalability and efficiency in testing.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and development teams to prepare test data for training, validation, and testing of AI models.
- Perform functional testing, regression testing, load testing, and performance testing on AI-powered applications to ensure stability after model retraining or version releases.
- Assist in training and fine-tuning AI models using real-world user feedback and test results, ensuring compliance with ethical AI standards.
- Critically analyze and validate the performance of machine learning models and AI outputs, identifying biases, edge cases, and ensuring alignment with accuracy, precision, and other performance metrics.
- Contribute to enhancing QA processes and improving testing frameworks for AI development.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, test cases, and testing results to support accountability and repeatability.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues in AI application features and functionality.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning frameworks, and related areas such as NLP, RAG, and OCR.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to develop product understanding by closely collaborating with product developers in an Agile setting.
- Ability to design and structure technical documents effectively.
- Curiosity and willingness to perform hands-on installation, configuration, and use of software to strengthen product knowledge.
- Understanding of technical writing style conventions.
- Proven experience in writing technical documents.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and monitor progress with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing for AI-based applications, machine learning models, generative AI models, or software development.
- Knowledge of ethical AI principles and bias detection in AI models.
- Proficiency with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium) and AI platforms/tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI, GPT, or Copilot.
