Key Responsibilities:
- Develop complex cash flow models using Moody’s proprietary software for verification purposes.
- Analyze complex legal documents to accurately interpret and validate cash flow structures.
- Acquire advanced knowledge of various structured finance deal structures.
- Implement policies and procedures for cash flow model verification and establish analytical frameworks to ensure model accuracy.
- Conduct or support the verification of CRQTs on an ad-hoc or as-needed basis.
- Collaborate effectively with rating analysts, the model development team, and research groups.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Applied Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, Physics, or Business preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in financial modeling.
Skills and Competencies:
- Working knowledge of programming or scripting technologies such as Python, VBA, C++, C#, MATLAB, or R.
- Experience in structured finance and cash flow modeling is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Moody’s Structured Finance Workstation (SFW) is strongly preferred.
- Hardworking, detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.
