Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring product quality.
- Develop and maintain test scripts based on functional and technical designs, functional test cases, or ad hoc requirements for bug fix testing.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
- Investigate defects to identify and analyze the root cause.
- Execute test cases, log defects, and maintain relevant test documentation.
- Track defects through their lifecycle until closure.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 0–1 year of professional experience.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, SQL, and web programming.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Technologies:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and modern frameworks (e.g., Java/J2EE with Spring Boot).
- Knowledge of one or more databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with web/application servers such as Tomcat.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
- Understanding of version control tools such as Git or SVN.
- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Preferred Skill:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Contributions to open-source projects, repositories, or personal projects.
- Participation in professional communities of interest, including meetups or forums.
- Relevant certifications in technology or agile methodologies.
