Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as a team member with other data science engineers in investigating, designing, developing, executing, and implementing data science projects to generate new insights, products, technologies, and intellectual property.
- Apply statistical tools and techniques to identify process gaps, determine root causes, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and implement a broad range of techniques and theories from statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence to provide actionable business insights.
- Perform data collection, analysis procedures, and data visualization for assigned projects in alignment with project plans and team guidance.
- Assist in conducting experiments and validations as per the overall project plan.
- Collect, record, and analyze data following established protocols and processes, and communicate findings with team members for review and feedback.
- Contribute to the preparation of literature, research papers, and presentations for peer review, publications, and delivery at industry or scientific conferences, as well as create patent applications and supporting documentation.
- Apply foundational principles of data science and contribute to projects through research and data analysis support, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.
- Support priority projects under guidance by maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing updates through standardized reports.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline; equivalent work experience or demonstrated competence may also be considered.
- 0–2 years of professional experience, preferably in data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certification in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or similar.
Knowledge & Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Agile methodology and software development practices.
- Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and tools.
- Solid foundation in computer science principles.
- Experience in creating and managing dashboards.
- Ability to perform data analysis, data management, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of data quality standards and practices.
- Understanding of data science methods and applications.
- Expertise in data visualization and data warehousing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and applications.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Programming skills in Python, R, and SQL.
- Experience with SAS software for statistical analysis.
- Strong foundation in statistics and analytical methods.
