Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for deployment across multiple public cloud regions.
- Develop and maintain shared platform services to support the delivery of current and future SaaS solutions.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of platform services and the cloud environments in which they operate.
- Monitor platform and infrastructure services, and manage metrics collection, performance analysis, and reporting.
- Contribute actively to the design, development, and improvement of platform services, tools, and processes.
- Support Motorola Solutions’ internal engineering teams by delivering scalable and reusable platform solutions.
- Work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment that embraces modern technologies and DevOps practices.
- Focus on automation and streamlined deployment processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Drive innovation and help shape engineering culture and best practices across Motorola Solutions’ Software Enterprise organization.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Design and develop custom software solutions that consolidate and centralize common functionality.
- Build low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications.
- Develop automation tools and services to accelerate delivery timelines and enhance developer productivity.
- Participate in DevOps activities and deployment processes.
- Integrate applications with multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Provide occasional on-call support for services developed by the team.
Primary Skills:
- Proficiency in Node.js and AngularJS.
- Strong curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies.
- Experience in developing and deploying RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of any relational database system.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, and agile development environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a good understanding of performance diagnostics.
- Solid grasp of network architecture and modern application development methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project management.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML and CSS.
- Basic knowledge of Python scripting.
- Experience using version control systems like Git.
