Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Cardmember Membership Rewards (MR) earn and burn behavior to guide marketing strategies and drive customer engagement.
- Contribute to the development of MR partner evaluation frameworks and strategies for redemption options.
- Communicate data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders across the USCS organization and other cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Marketing teams to align analytical insights with organizational goals and initiatives.
- Translate complex data sets into clear, compelling business narratives to support executive-level decision-making.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
Critical Factors to Success:
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and an innovative mindset to solve real-world business problems.
- Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, data mining techniques, and research methodologies.
- Solid understanding of card economics; experience in charge or loyalty analytics is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- A strong sense of intellectual curiosity and a deep interest in the credit card and loyalty domains.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, and a Master’s degree is preferred in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or other related quantitative fields.
- 0 to 2 years of professional experience in applying advanced analytics and decision sciences to drive performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and data manipulation tools such as SQL, Hive, Python, and Big Data analytics techniques.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong enthusiasm for continuous learning, identifying emerging industry trends, and developing innovative solutions.
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and work independently with large and complex datasets.
