Key Responsibilities:

Risk Management Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to users as needed, ensuring smooth operations and issue resolution.
  • Act as the delivery coordinator for all downstream systems involved in the project.
  • Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, understandable, and unambiguous for all intended audiences.
  • Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, in coordination with business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Identify and engage all relevant stakeholders, and define the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrix for assigned scopes.
  • Facilitate discussions with project teams to outline actions necessary to meet business objectives.
  • Develop business requirements as JIRA backlog items, maintain traceability to the business vision, and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for users.
  • Obtain necessary stakeholder approvals and sign-offs on business requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to change management standards and procedures by documenting and maintaining all project artefacts such as requirements, functional specification documents (FSDs), data dictionaries, sign-offs, and meeting minutes.

Governance:

  • Secure stakeholder buy-in and formal sign-off on all documented business requirements.
  • Comply with project governance standards by thoroughly documenting and managing all required artefacts, including requirements, FSDs, data dictionaries, approvals, and meeting records.

Regulatory & Business Conduct:

  • Demonstrate exemplary personal conduct and uphold the Group’s values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take ownership of promoting and maintaining the highest ethical standards and regulatory compliance across Standard Chartered Bank.
  • Understand and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, internal guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct, both in letter and in spirit.
  • Proactively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve any risks, conduct issues, or compliance concerns.
  • Lead by example to ensure alignment with the outcomes set forth in the Bank’s Conduct Principles.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Oracle SQL and similar relational database query languages
  • Skilled in data modeling techniques for structured and unstructured data
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Experienced in creating impactful presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Familiar with collaboration and project management tools such as Confluence, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Jira
  • Understanding of trade capture and processing tools used in financial services environments
