Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong desire to grow a career as a Data Scientist in a highly automated industrial manufacturing environment by performing data analysis and machine learning on large-scale datasets (terabytes to petabytes).
- Extract data from various databases using SQL and other query languages, and apply data cleansing, outlier detection, and missing data handling techniques.
- Apply advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze datasets and uncover meaningful patterns and insights.
- Show interest in developing web applications as part of the job responsibilities.
- Possess knowledge of cloud-based analytics platforms and machine learning model development.
- Develop APIs to support application integration and data-driven functionalities.
- Demonstrate expertise in statistical modeling, feature extraction and analysis, feature engineering, and various learning techniques including supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning.
- Perform thorough data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Exhibit strong software development skills to support data science and application development tasks.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or Physics.
- Minimum academic requirement: CGPA of 7.0 or above.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming with above-average fluency.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and advanced analytical techniques.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, AngularJS 2.0, and Tableau is considered an added advantage.
- Background in object-oriented programming (OOP) is a plus.
- Understanding of PySpark and libraries for distributed and parallel processing is beneficial.
- Experience with TensorFlow or other statistical software, along with scripting capabilities for automating analyses.
- Exposure to working with time-series data, image data, semi-supervised learning, and data with frequently changing distributions is a plus.
- Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is desirable.
