Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and develop new methods as needed.
- Develop tools to support the analysis and visualization of large datasets.
- Design, develop, and code software programs, and implement industry-standard AutoML models for speech, computer vision, text data, LLMs, statistical models, and other relevant ML/AI models for device- or machine-acquired data.
- Identify meaningful foresights using predictive ML models from large data and metadata sources; interpret and communicate foresights, insights, and experimental findings to product managers, service managers, business partners, and business leaders.
- Utilize rapid development tools (e.g., business intelligence tools, graphics libraries, data modeling tools) to effectively communicate research findings through visual graphics, data models, machine learning model features, and feature engineering or transformations to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze, review, and track trends and emerging tools in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and IoT domains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify questions and issues related to data engineering, machine learning models, and feature engineering.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to data collection mechanisms to enhance the efficacy of machine learning model predictions.
- Meet with customers, partners, product managers, and business leaders to present findings, predictions, and foresights; gather customer-specific requirements for business problems and processes; identify data collection constraints and propose implementation alternatives for models.
- Apply working knowledge of MLOps, LLMs, and agentic AI/workflows.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python programming and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Apply hands-on expertise in training, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs.
- Possess a strong understanding of open-weight LLM architectures, including training methodologies, fine-tuning techniques, hyperparameter optimization, and model distillation.
- Develop robust data pipelines with a strong understanding of data engineering concepts, feature engineering, and workflow automation using tools like Airflow or Kubeflow.
- Deploy machine learning models in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP (Google Vertex AI), or Azure, using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design and implement predictive and optimization models that incorporate diverse data types.
- Demonstrate strong skills in SQL and experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Eligibility Criteria:
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and algorithms.
- Experience with machine learning techniques, including deep learning, neural networks, and genetic algorithms.
- Working knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Cassandra, and Spark; hands-on experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in data mining techniques.
- Experience with data visualization and using visualization analysis tools, including R.
- Prior work or project experience in sensors, IoT, or the mobile industry is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable presenting findings and insights to senior management and C-level executives.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic.
