Eligibility Criteria:
- Independently maintain handler logs and manage various portfolio activities, including order management and handling priority aftermarket requisitions.
- Manage RFQs (Requests for Quotation), including initiating RFQs, following up for quotes, and addressing supplier queries in collaboration with buyers and Product Development (PD) and cross-functional (XF) teams.
- Compile and analyze quotes from suppliers, prepare preliminary quote summaries and cost breakdowns for various suppliers and parts.
- Resolve portfolio-related issues with suppliers and cross-functional teams, and manage supplier price discrepancies and related issues.
- Perform various analyses for buyers and managers, such as price inconsistency analysis, 80/20 analysis, ABC analysis, volume trend analysis, supplier dashboard creation, material cost levels reports, supplier spend analysis, part price evolution, cost per KG analysis, and supplier deep dive analysis.
- Provide supplier integration support upon buyer request, including setting up EDI connections, managing supplier portal access, and administering the creation, addition, or deletion of Parma codes and supplier base records.
- Support taxonomy and segmentation activities for buyers, management, and segment owners, and maintain various departmental dashboards and reports.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Fresh Graduate with a university degree in B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical & Electronics, or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 65% CGPI.
- Quick learner with a strong drive for building competence.
- Demonstrates a mindset of continuous improvement and excellence, along with good communication skills.
- Good understanding of and keen interest in manufacturing processes and best-practice costing.
- Strong interest in building a career in Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to connect and collaborate effectively within ecosystems.
- Positive and collaborative attitude with strong energy and motivation to contribute to the success of the Volvo Group.
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel programming skills.
- Highly proactive approach and strong initiative are essential.
