Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver business artifacts such as requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, challenge, facilitate, and document business requirements in the form of business requirements specifications, features, epics, or user stories, and secure sign-off.
- Conduct business process analysis, identify opportunities for improvement, and create process flows, swimlanes, and documentation through focused group sessions, brainstorming, shadowing, or reverse-shadowing activities.
- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios to validate data models and data flows.
- Ensure minimal adverse impact to existing systems or integrated platforms, and provide timely advice to respective teams.
- Perform data quality checks to identify and address data inconsistencies or anomalies.
- Assist in resolving daily issue-related tickets by providing business support or design confirmations as needed.
- Manage, train, and continuously improve existing processes, including those involving vendor partners, to achieve optimal efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Experience with the end-to-end insurance value chain process, with a strong focus on claims process flow.
- Ability to perform basic or advanced queries; advanced querying skills will be an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, INS, or other Business Analyst or Insurance-related certifications are preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication abilities, with the capability to present information persuasively at leadership levels.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with business stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical skills to identify root causes, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Ability to test and validate canonical data models.
Preferred skills:
- Significant experience in supporting all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and contribute as a self-driven team player.
- Hands-on experience working with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Basic or advanced querying capabilities are preferred.
- Prior domain experience as a Business Analyst working on Property & Casualty (Americas) platforms or General Insurance (Europe) is an added advantage.
- Proven planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work resiliently, plan analysis tasks, prioritize workload, prepare in advance, and set realistic timelines.
- Adaptable to new strategies, programs, technologies, practices, and cultures, with the ability to embrace change and transition easily.
