Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee budget management, people development, and operational goals for a designated functional area within Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, or Delivery Stations (Inbound or Outbound).
- Lead and manage a team of Process Assistants, providing coaching and mentorship to ensure performance targets are consistently achieved.
- Foster a positive work environment by building strong employee relations and developing leadership talent within the operational unit.
- Drive the creation and execution of staffing plans, scheduling, quality improvement programs, process enhancements, and Six Sigma or change initiatives to achieve and exceed business objectives.
- Define and communicate performance expectations for Process Assistants, monitor outcomes, provide constructive feedback, and ensure accountability for team and individual performance.
- Collaborate with Area Managers and Process Assistants to source and develop innovative ideas, incorporating them into functional area improvement plans.
- Promote best practice sharing across departments, shifts, and the broader operational network to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Work closely with cross-functional support teams such as HR, Finance, Facilities, Security & Loss Prevention, Operations, and IT to secure resources and align project goals.
- Proactively resolve operational and personnel-related issues impacting the functional area.
- Lead a team of associates from the floor, with support from experienced managers, in a hands-on, operational role from Day 1.
- Be available to work in a 24×7, 365-day operational environment, including night shifts and non-traditional weekly offs (not limited to Saturdays or Sundays).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (excluding Computer Science-related and Circuit branches).
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with Macros and Lookup functions.
- Academic coursework in supply chain management, production planning, or control.
- Basic understanding of Kaizen and LEAN methodology techniques.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
