Key Responsibilities:
- Develop required automation libraries and frameworks, and implement automated tests accordingly.
- Maintain platform stability by implementing appropriate checks and controls.
- Lead meetings, drive new initiatives, and foster innovation within the team.
- Participate actively in daily Quality Assurance (QA) tasks and activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality product releases.
- Promote and support initiatives focused on innovation and technical excellence.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements in software development and testing processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E/B.Tech or equivalent).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- ISTQB certification is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Java and Selenium for automation testing.
- Experience in testing SaaS products with a clear understanding of system architecture and design.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience using test cycle management tools like JIRA or similar platforms.
- Ability to formulate effective test strategies, including breaking down business/technical requirements into test scenarios, identifying test data needs, and preparing contingency plans.
- Hands-on experience testing microservices-based platforms.
- Exposure to development and testing tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with basic Unix/Linux commands.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent production deployments.
- Strong focus on performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers.
- Empathy towards users and a strong appreciation for delivering a quality user experience.
