Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive revenue analysis to identify trends, uncover insights, and highlight opportunities for business growth.
- Perform Profit and Loss (P&L) attribution by analyzing variances and delivering detailed explanations to relevant stakeholders.
- Execute Independent Price Verification (IPV) processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data.
- Lead financial data reconciliation efforts by identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies across datasets.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to design and implement efficient processes and reporting frameworks.
- Document business requirements, workflows, and procedures, and translate them into clear technical specifications when needed.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making and forecasting.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare detailed, actionable reports for senior management.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within the finance domain, with expertise in revenue analysis, P&L attribution, Independent Price Verification (IPV), and data reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, data analysis techniques, and reporting methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage and engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or a related field is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with financial systems and accounting software.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum project management frameworks.
