Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of web and mobile applications.
- Support security monitoring activities, including log analysis and incident response.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and related documentation.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.
- Involves protecting systems and applications from cyber threats and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Requires individuals with strong technical acumen, excellent problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree, preferably from the 2024 or 2025 graduating batch.
- Specialization in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a closely related field.
- Strong academic performance with coursework or projects focused on security-related topics.
- Minimum of 60% marks throughout academics.
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, encryption techniques, and authentication mechanisms.
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) tools such as Burp Suite and Nmap, and proficiency with basic Linux commands.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Passion for cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and solving complex technical challenges.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CompTIA Security+, or any other recognized security-related certification or course.
Additional Skills:
- Cybersecurity fundamentals
- Proficiency in English
- Basic knowledge of Python
