Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with AMD’s architecture specialists to enhance the performance and capabilities of future products.
- Apply data-driven approaches to identify and implement targeted optimization strategies.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and innovations in software, hardware, algorithms, and system architecture.
- Design and develop innovative technologies to advance AMD’s technical capabilities.
- Participate in the bring-up and validation of new ASICs and hardware components.
- Debug and resolve existing issues while researching more efficient methods to achieve the same outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred skills:
- Strong background in object-oriented programming, with a preference for C/C++.
- Proven ability to write high-quality code with strong attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
- Familiarity with operating system development on platforms such as Windows, Linux, and/or Android.
- Experience with software development tools and processes, including debuggers, source code control systems (e.g., GitHub), and performance profilers is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
