Key Responsibilities:
- Manage balance sheet reconciliation processes, including research, clearance, and analytical review.
- Ensure the overall health of the enterprise-wide balance sheet by maintaining efficiency and upholding financial integrity through timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Perform day-to-day operational accounting activities with accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders such as account owners, regulators, and entity/segment controllers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lead intelligent automation efforts, and ensure adherence to management policies.
- Enhance the control environment by supporting satisfactory audit outcomes and strengthening internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, including SOX requirements, Process Risk Self-Assessments, and support for statutory and internal audits.
- Proactively challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for redesign, simplification, or automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate or Postgraduate with 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Possesses strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and connect various business processes.
- Demonstrates solid accounting knowledge and expertise in financial principles.
- Capable of innovative thinking and pursuing ideas with confidence and clarity.
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Assertive in approach and able to influence and collaborate effectively without direct authority.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in ambiguous or dynamic environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with senior leadership, finance teams, business partners, customers, and employees at various levels.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities, including the ability to guide, train, motivate, and communicate with a diverse workforce.
