Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and propose opportunities to enhance performance within the LLVM-based compiler middle-end optimizer.
- Design and implement new compiler analysis passes and optimization techniques to improve compilation efficiency and code performance.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team focused on advancing deep learning compiler technologies, bridging architecture design, low-level compiler support, and high-level language integration.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in compiler optimizations, including loop optimizations, inter-procedural optimizations, and global optimizations.
- Proficient in hands-on C++ programming.
- Experience in compiler development using MLIR, LLVM, and/or Clang.
- Understanding of processor instruction set architectures (ISAs); familiarity with GPU ISAs is a plus.
- Possess strong communication and documentation skills, with a self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
Preferred Skills:
- M.S. or Ph.D. degree is preferred.
- Experience in developing applications using CUDA or other parallel programming languages.
- Solid understanding of parallel programming concepts.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and NVIDIA GPU architecture.
