Key Responsibilities:
- Define key metrics to measure business and operational performance.
- Implement logging mechanisms to capture relevant data for analysis and monitoring.
- Acquire and ingest data from various sources to support analytical and reporting needs.
- Design and model data architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Perform data transformation to prepare and enrich data for analysis and decision-making.
- Ensure data quality, enforce governance standards, and enable data accessibility across the organization.
- Develop alerting mechanisms, visualizations, and reports to support proactive monitoring and informed decision-making.
- Build scalable data solutions and continuously improve processes for greater efficiency and performance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in Python or another modern programming language, with hands-on development experience.
- Strong command of SQL with experience working on relational databases.
Preferred Skills:
- Post-graduate degree in a STEM field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, physics, econometrics, or computer science), or equivalent work experience, along with 1–2 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
- Good understanding of the SaaS business model and associated data structures.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and DBT (Data Build Tool).
- Experience in developing enterprise software products.
