Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vulnerability analysis and penetration testing of web applications, thick client applications, and mobile applications used in critical infrastructure environments.
- Perform protocol fuzz testing on industrial communication protocols to identify potential security flaws.
- Recommend appropriate mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities and communicate them effectively to the development team.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to validate findings and enhance the effectiveness of security controls.
Primary Qualifications:
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Kali Linux, and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools like App Scanner or equivalent.
- Understanding of key security protocols including HTTPS, HSTS, TLS, and SSH.
- Strong learning agility with a demonstrated commitment to continuous skill development.
- Excellent analytical thinking and sound decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Secondary Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, Python, or Shell for exploit development.
- Familiarity with security standards and frameworks like OWASP Top 10 and IEC 62443.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BCA/B.Sc. in Computer Science) completed in 2024 or expected to be completed by June 2025 from a recognized institute.
- Completion of cybersecurity training or certification will be considered an added advantage.
