Key Responsibilities:
- Drive forecasting and actualization of key Finance and Acquisition KPIs to enable early insights and agile decision-making.
- Contribute to the annual and long-term planning processes for key financial metrics at American Express.
- Provide analytical insights on welcome offers and incentive investments across various international markets.
- Support the development and refinement of Lifetime Value (LTV) and financial profitability models to optimize marketing investments.
- Conduct analytical studies and present actionable insights while effectively addressing stakeholder inquiries.
- Design and deliver high-quality business insight dashboards, scalable analytical solutions, and accurate scorecards within deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, understand processes, and propose innovative solutions.
- Leverage emerging technologies to develop clean, efficient concepts and work with cross-functional teams for successful implementation.
- Evaluate the current business environment, identify improvement areas, and recommend effective alternative solutions.
- Plan and manage project deliverables, prioritize daily tasks, maintain documentation, and monitor business performance indicators.
- Handle ad-hoc solution support requests, ensuring quality and timeliness are not compromised.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering with relevant experience.
- Postgraduate qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Management is preferred.
- 0 to 18 months of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical abilities paired with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Practical experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and hypothesis testing techniques.
- Proficient in data mining, data cleansing, and data transformation to support effective analysis and insight generation.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Python, ML libraries, PySpark, SQL, and Hive.
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI is an added advantage.
