Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Requirement Analysis
- Understand test requirements and design effective test cases based on product specifications.
- Develop detailed test plans aligned with business and testable requirements.
- Implement Wipro’s Model-Based Testing approach for efficient test case generation.
- Ensure peer review of test cases to reduce rework and improve quality.
- Collaborate with the development team to capture version-controlled test scenarios.
- Define testing scope, parameters, and acceptance criteria; actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Automate parts of the test lifecycle using VB macros, scheduling tools, GUI automation, etc.
Test Automation and Execution
- Design and implement automation frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
- Set up test environments and develop/execute test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Ensure defect reporting aligns with project/account norms, with clear reproduction steps and descriptions.
- Identify bugs, document issues, and communicate test progress through detailed reports.
- Deliver quality outputs with zero rejections or delays, adhering to Wipro/Customer SLAs.
- Prepare and share timely test execution dashboards after each testing cycle.
- Provide usability and serviceability feedback, linking results to quality risks and informing stakeholders.
Status Reporting and Customer Interaction
- Maintain professional and effective communication with customers via emails, reports, calls, and interactions.
- Ensure timely delivery of Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and dashboard updates in the test management system.
- Accurately log efforts in eCube, TMS, and relevant project trackers.
- Respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring no complaints from internal or external stakeholders.
