Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and build scalable data products for delivery to clients from the Bangalore delivery hub.
- Manage end-to-end analytics projects—from ideation to execution—delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Define and implement data methodologies and frameworks aligned with project goals.
- Effectively communicate analytical findings and recommendations, support solution deployment, and track business impact.
- Utilize VisaNet transaction data, client data, and third-party sources to create advanced data-driven solutions and dashboards.
- Identify opportunities to innovate by leveraging non-traditional data sources and applying modern modeling techniques tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with and manage internal stakeholders across multiple data projects within the AP (Asia Pacific) region.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Business Analytics; a Master’s degree or higher is a plus.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning.
- Strong analytical expertise in applying statistical methods to solve real-world business problems.
- Hands-on experience in data extraction and aggregation from large datasets using tools such as SQL, Hive, Spark, or similar technologies.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and/or C, and experienced with ML/DL tools including Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Skilled in applying statistical and machine learning techniques such as Neural Networks, Gradient Boosting, Linear & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Markov Chains, SVM, Clustering, PCA, and Factor Analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Proven ability to innovate, develop analytical solutions, and drive impactful business outcomes.
- Strong presentation, data storytelling, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in analytics for retail banking, card issuing, or consulting for financial institutions.
- Solid understanding of payments systems and the banking domain.
- Expertise in storyboarding and data storytelling, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience collaborating with the data science community or working in cross-functional analytics teams.
