Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Execution

  • Understand test requirements and design comprehensive test cases for the product.
  • Create test plans based on business requirements and translate them into testable criteria.
  • Implement Wipro’s model-based testing approach for efficient and systematic test generation.
  • Conduct peer reviews of test cases to minimize rework and maintain high quality.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and document test cases while ensuring version control.
  • Define testing scope, criteria, and parameters, and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Automate various stages of the test lifecycle using VB macros, scheduled tasks, and GUI automation tools.

Test Automation and Defect Management

  • Design and execute test automation frameworks and generate comprehensive test reports.
  • Develop and automate test scripts for software validation, including environment setup, test plan creation, and execution of test cases/scenarios.
  • Raise defects with clear descriptions and reproducible steps, in line with project/program standards.
  • Identify bugs, log detailed defect reports, and track testing progress consistently.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet Wipro/Customer SLA requirements with zero rejections or slippages.
  • Create and share test status dashboards at the end of each testing cycle with stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace issues to quality risks, and report them to the appropriate teams.

Status Reporting and Customer Engagement

  • Maintain high-quality interactions with customers through professional email communication, voice calls, fault tracking, and proper business etiquette.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and dashboard updates in the test management repository.
  • Accurately update efforts and task details in project tracking tools such as eCube, TMS, and other trackers.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring no internal or external complaints.
