Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Power BI solutions, including the creation of tabular reports.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in DAX to develop complex calculations and advanced visualizations.
- Build and optimize semantic data models to enhance reporting performance and usability.
- Utilize SQL for data analysis, querying, and transforming datasets for reporting purposes.
- Understand data flows and ETL processes, and assess their impact on DAX expressions and report logic.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues within the Power BI environment.
- Implement CI/CD practices and set up automated testing pipelines for Power BI reports to ensure reliability and scalability.
Required Skills:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Data Modeling: Experience with tabular database design and dimensional modeling using star and snowflake schemas.
- Cloud Platforms (Good to Have): Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services such as Data Lake, SQL, and Data Factory, as well as Snowflake.
