Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an opportunity landscape to support negotiations for new benefit partnerships.
- Inform partner strategy to enhance partner-sourced value and strengthen product value propositions using bespoke analytics.
- Leverage advanced analytics to analyze customer behavior and competitive landscape, articulating a compelling partner value story to strengthen relationships and support renegotiations with existing benefit partners.
- Establish a robust Management Information System (MIS) and tracking framework to assess benefit performance from both Amex and external partner perspectives.
- Proactively identify emerging merchants and industries to curate a business development pipeline aligned with loyalty and benefit strategies.
- Present analytics-driven insights to the Product Management and Lending leadership team, as well as cross-functional partners such as Business Development and Product teams, to shape product and partner strategies.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or related quantitative fields.
- Proficiency in programming with hands-on experience using statistical analysis and data manipulation tools (e.g., SAS, SQL) and Big Data analytics techniques.
- Strong ability to interpret data, derive meaningful insights, and break down complex business problems.

- Strong analytical skills with an innovative approach to solving practical problems.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, data mining, and research techniques.
