Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, implement, document, maintain, and support system application software in compliance with MasterCard standards, processes, and best practices.
- Deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions based on technical specifications and design artifacts within the expected timeframe and budget.
- Research, evaluate, and create technical solution alternatives to meet business needs.
- Prepare system and testing documentation in accordance with departmental standards.
- Adhere to development and testing standards to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Follow MasterCard’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
- Support the collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve standards and enhance process efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge / Experience:
- Basic understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
- 0 to 12 months of experience in the software engineering field.
Skills / Abilities:
- Highly energetic, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Excellent collaboration and organizational skills, with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a matrix-based, diverse, and geographically distributed project team.
