Key Responsibilities:
Technical Responsibilities:
- Provide support for architecture planning, migration, and installation for new projects within the assigned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup).
- Lead the structural and architectural design of platforms, middleware, databases, and backups to ensure scalable and extensible solutions.
- Conduct technology capacity planning by analyzing current and future system requirements.
- Leverage the latest features of underlying technologies to optimize database, application, and platform performance.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans, along with backup and recovery strategies.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution to prevent recurrence.
- Plan and oversee upgrades, migrations, maintenance, backups, installations, and configurations for the assigned tower.
- Monitor and enhance technical performance by optimizing efficiency and minimizing performance challenges.
- Develop and maintain shift rosters to ensure seamless operations within the tower.
- Create and update SOPs, Data Responsibility Matrices, operational manuals, daily test plans, and data architecture guidelines.
- Provide weekly status reports to client leadership and internal stakeholders on database activities, including progress updates and next steps.
- Implement service improvement plans (SIP) through automation and other technology-driven initiatives to enhance efficiency.

- Forecast talent requirements based on current and future business needs.
- Recruit and onboard the right talent to build a high-performing team.
- Train direct reportees to ensure effective recruitment and selection processes.
Talent Management:
- Ensure 100% compliance with Wipro’s onboarding and training standards to enhance team capability and effectiveness.
- Build an internal pipeline of high-potential employees (HiPos) and facilitate their career growth within the organization.
- Promote diversity in leadership roles within the team.
Performance Management:
- Set clear goals for direct reportees and conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to enhance individual and team performance.
- Ensure employees understand and leverage organizational programs like Performance Nxt for career development.
Employee Engagement & Satisfaction:
- Lead and drive engagement initiatives to enhance team morale and satisfaction.
- Track team satisfaction scores and implement initiatives to improve engagement and workplace culture.
