Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Solutions Managers to analyze company data and provide insights for improving existing products and developing new ones.
- Analyze retail data from various sources to identify trends, make predictions, and generate forecasts.
- Assist retail customers in understanding large datasets across multiple channels, including POS systems, traffic counters, review sites, online platforms, social media, and weather data.
- Provide recommendations to front-end teams on how to effectively visualize and present data findings to customers.
- Explore and analyze relevant data to identify key business drivers and opportunities for improvement, with minimal supervision.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
- At least 2 years of experience analyzing large datasets using modern tools.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, and Composer.
- Proven ability to design and structure large-scale datasets effectively.
- Experience with Crunchy Data, particularly PostgreSQL and Kubernetes.
- Strong skills in communication, negotiation, analytics, and critical thinking.
- Ability to manage virtual and remote teams effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking abilities, including systems analysis, problem-solving, and sound decision-making.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and expertise in Atlassian products such as Jira Align, Jira, and Confluence.
- Background in software development.
- Published research work or patents.
