Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support applications and systems within the team’s scope.
- Write clean, maintainable, high-performance, and well-tested code to implement new features and resolve bugs.
- Develop unit tests and integration tests while coordinating with QA to ensure timely regression testing for new features.
- Monitor live system metrics, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Analyze and understand existing system functionality to propose and implement technical improvements.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to plan and prioritize new feature development.
- Communicate project estimates, dependencies, and blockers to relevant stakeholders promptly.
- Take ownership of feature development and projects, overseeing design, development, testing, and release to production.
- Enhance the scalability, maintainability, availability, and observability of applications.
- Document newly implemented technologies and application functionalities for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of fundamental web technologies, including HTTP, REST, AJAX, and JSON.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/ES6, with expertise in DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Solid understanding of database principles, including querying and updating SQL databases.
- In-depth knowledge of REST principles and best practices for building and using RESTful APIs.
- Strong grasp of core design principles and common design patterns in React.
- Experience with front-end development tools such as Vite, NPM, and Yarn.
- Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
