Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Data Analytics (DA) strategy defined by Internal Audit (IA) management within the scope of audit responsibilities, including audit planning, development of analytical tools, and delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Collaborate with audit teams to identify business risks, facilitate strategic data sourcing, and develop innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit testing.
- Develop production-ready analytical tools to automate repeatable and reusable processes within Internal Audit.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships and effective communication with audit team members.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 1–3 years of experience with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in relational database management systems (RDBMS) and SQL.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with familiarity in text analytics and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Knowledge of basic statistics and statistical modeling.
- Experience with time series analysis, correlation, regression, and predictive modeling, along with their applications in data analysis.
- Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying relevant information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Active contributor to the Data Science team, assisting in building analytical capabilities for the Internal Audit Division.
- Self-driven, motivated, and proactive in identifying opportunities for performance improvement.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and exposure to supervised and unsupervised learning methods, including Linear/Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machines (SVM), Random Forest, and Boosting.
- Knowledge of clustering and pattern recognition techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Spotfire, QlikView, or Tableau.
- Strong creativity and innovation skills, with the ability to enhance existing processes and develop practical, value-driven solutions.
