Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define user requirements for new feature development.
- Participate in the design and development of highly scalable storage services.
- Own software components or modules and drive component-level design decisions in coordination with the team, senior engineers, and architects.
- Develop and implement code for products, services, or features, ensuring code reusability where applicable.
- Write extensible and maintainable code while considering diagnosability, reliability, and maintainability, with minimal defects.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, adaptation, reflection, and professional growth.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, with proven experience in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 1+ years of technical engineering experience in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with proven experience in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems, as well as distributed systems and storage.
