Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for various stakeholders across the organization.
- Establish design standards and best practices for dashboard development within the Finance department.
- Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards using Power BI to support business decision-making.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns, developing visualizations that enable users to perform further analysis and gain deeper insights.
- Integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Leverage Snowflake repositories and collaborate with Snowflake developers to incorporate new data sources and extend the data model.
- Structure data models effectively, including defining relationships between tables to enable efficient and accurate reporting.
- Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into optimized Snowflake solutions.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing dashboards for enhanced performance and user experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data visualization and dashboard development using Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying Snowflake and DAX for creating complex calculations and measures within Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for automation and advanced data manipulation.
- Familiarity with the financial services industry, particularly Asset Management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Cognos Analytics, TM1, or Python.
- Certification in Power BI.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Snowflake and Oracle Financials.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
