Key Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies such as story grooming and sprint planning, contributing to risk identification and proposing alternative solutions.
- Plan, execute, and contribute to technical tasks within assigned projects.
- Engage in design discussions and provide technical guidance to other developers.
- Contribute to implementation, automated unit and integration testing, debugging, and complex code integration across multiple concurrent projects.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work performed.
- Continuously seek opportunities for automation, implementing feature testing strategies with measurable and tangible goals.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Hands-on experience designing web-based applications using Java technologies, with a willingness to learn UI technologies.
- Proficiency in Java application development frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience with databases, persistence frameworks, and SQL.
- Strong design and programming experience, with expertise in object-oriented principles, design patterns, data structures, and unit testing.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote, dispersed, and global teams when necessary.
- Broad understanding of trends and technologies, leveraging technical knowledge to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microservices, Agile teams, AngularJS, Python, Selenium, Maven, Spring, Grunt, and Shell scripting.
- Experience with AWS services, including AWS IoT, Kinesis, Redbrick, Quicksight, and PTC.
- Experience applying Agile software development methodologies.
