Position Description:
- Data Pipeline Development:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from multiple sources.
- Database Design and Optimization:
- Develop and manage data models, schemas, and storage solutions for both relational and non-relational databases to enable efficient querying and analytics.
- Data Quality and Governance:
- Implement data validation, monitoring, and governance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Cloud Infrastructure and Integration:
- Deploy and optimize cloud-based data solutions using platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and enhance system performance, optimize query efficiency, and ensure adherence to data delivery SLAs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering frameworks such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools like dbt, Talend, Informatica, or Apache NiFi.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Cloud Platforms:
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS (e.g., Glue, Redshift), GCP (e.g., BigQuery, DataFlow), or Azure (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory).
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions like Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), or Azure Blob Storage.
- Big Data Tools:
- Knowledge of distributed data processing frameworks, including Apache Hadoop, Spark, and Flink.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and MongoDB.
- Data Governance:
- Understanding of data privacy laws and compliance standards, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
- Knowledge of MLOps and integrating data engineering solutions with machine learning pipelines.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
