Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Development and Management
- Monitor and track scheduled processes daily (Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM), ensuring any issues are identified and reported within an hour of detection on the same day.
- Manage the scheduler change process, ensuring all governance steps are completed before implementing changes in a controlled manner.
- Promptly communicate detected process failures to stakeholders and take agreed-upon actions to remediate issues.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all processes supporting the scheduler, including program specifications and related materials.
- Collect and coordinate necessary information to provide collective responses to impact assessment requests from infrastructure teams when required.
- Raise incidents to platform support teams for infrastructure-related issues and regularly update stakeholders on progress and outcomes.
- Follow all prescribed steps in the process documentation for effective scheduler management.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key support contact for the Customer Targeting team within Customer Communication Delivery, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of scheduled process queries and issues.
- Collaborate with multiple support teams responsible for maintaining the platforms and tools used for customer communication execution, engaging them when necessary.
- Occasionally communicate with process owners in Barclays UK to address relevant concerns and queries.
Decision-Making and Problem-Solving
- Quickly evaluate and identify the root cause of any issues within scheduled processes before escalating to the process owner or team leads, ideally with a proposed resolution.
- Assess various potential causes when troubleshooting issues, considering whether multiple incidents within a short period may be linked to a common root cause.

- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks.
- Well-organized and diligent in maintaining and updating documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues and effectively share relevant updates with the team.

- Capable of building strong, respectful working relationships with colleagues across different geographies and virtual teams.

- Proficiency in SQL syntax and logic.
Preferred Skills:
- Practical experience working with schedulers such as Unix CRON or Tivoli’s Dynamic Workload Console (TWS).
- Hands-on experience with Teradata or Hadoop databases, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Experience using programming languages such as SAS or R, ideally in a commercial environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
