Key Responsibilities:
- Support Commercial Banking lines of business (LOB) through reporting, data mining, and analysis.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing reporting framework for Wholesale lines of business.
- Review, enhance, and report operational losses, including:
- Newly created Operational Losses exceeding $10K
- Internal Losses over $500K
- External Losses over $5MM
- Near Misses, Quality Assurance Reports, LOB Monthly & Quarterly Loss Reports
- OCC/FRB regulatory reports, Issues Management, and Payment Risks reports
- Ensure compliance with FRB/OCC regulatory requirements by providing a comprehensive overview of operational losses for Wholesale businesses.
- Provide business summary reviews to Wholesale Risk Leadership, facilitating discussions on operational losses, root causes, emerging trends, and remediation efforts.
- Expand the scope of monitoring and reporting key operational risk metrics across Wholesale LOB, integrating additional risk types into the operational risk governance structure.
- Develop metrics to identify trends, provide early warnings for potential risk changes, and monitor process and control performance through key process and control indicators.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while fostering a risk-mitigating and compliance-driven culture.
- Identify, communicate, mitigate, and escalate risks arising from process non-compliance, operational errors, and data integrity issues.
- Manage risk throughout the change management lifecycle, particularly in executing Efficiency & Effectiveness (E&E) initiatives.
- Execute risk programs, including Technology, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Information Security, and Regulatory Compliance, ensuring adherence to Wells Fargo policies and procedures.
- Proactively monitor governance, risk identification, and escalation, making sound risk decisions aligned with the business unit’s risk appetite.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and address any discrepancies, queries, or escalations related to projects and assignments.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Skills:
- At least 6 months of experience in Business Execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in the Risk domain.
- Proficiency in Key Risk Indicators (KRI) administration, reporting, and analysis.
- Experience in designing and executing quality assurance programs.
- Strong understanding of operational loss analysis and reporting.
- Ability to enhance and maintain desktop procedures.
- Experience in conducting credible challenge reporting and analysis, providing observations and recommendations.
- Proficiency in project management, data analytics, and generating insights.
