Position Description:
- Respond to technical assistance requests by following established procedures.
- Investigate reported incidents using available resources and diagnostic tools.
- Diagnose, triage, and resolve hardware, software, application, or basic network-related issues.
- Log all interactions and document activities, findings, and resolutions accurately in the incident management system.
- Assign unresolved tickets to the appropriate support team for further investigation.
- Proactively monitor, follow up, and expedite the resolution of assigned and pending tickets.
- Identify and escalate incidents requiring urgent attention and intervention.
- Stay updated on system changes, updates, and new information.
- Adhere to assigned work schedules, attendance policies, and leave regulations.
- Work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment as required.
- Ensure compliance with CGI and client IS/IT policies, code of conduct, and quality standards.
- Participate in the recruitment process by assisting with initial member screening.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a neutral accent and proper grammar.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred but not mandatory).
- Exposure to scripting or automation tools, including PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for seamless collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, share knowledge, and provide support to colleagues.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Flexibility to work in the client’s time zones as required.
