Key Responsibilities:
- Take overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling, ensuring a minimum of two-week inventory levels.
- Act as an expert in Oracle and Digital Cockpit systems.
- Ensure the systemic accuracy of inventory data.
- Manage rescheduling of materials to support inventory control, including expediting (pull-ins) and deferring (push-outs).
- Investigate and resolve root causes of daily material shortages.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to address packaging requirements, min/max planning, materials replenishment, and root-cause problem-solving.
- Perform daily inspections of the shop floor and receiving dock to identify and resolve material receiving issues.
- Support material transfers and supplier reviews in collaboration with the Sourcing team.
- Manage Phase-In/Phase-Out (NPI) processes to minimize obsolete material and ensure a smooth transition.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
Soft Skills:
- Working knowledge of MRP, Oracle, or SAP systems is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred Skills:
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate and convey ideas.
