Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct industry-specific or subject-specific research as needed to support business objectives.
- Analyze risk trends and their potential impact by leveraging data from diverse sources, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare detailed reports on the progression, scope, and implications of emerging risks.
- Identify and collect information from various sources, including legal databases, regulatory bodies, government institutions, news platforms, and science aggregators.
- Perform quality checks on deliverables, including editing, formatting, and verifying sources for accuracy and reliability.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficiency in gathering, cleaning, interpreting, and analyzing data using statistical techniques is preferred.
- Ability to write concise, logical, and grammatically accurate reports.
- Experience in web content scraping using open-source or commercial tools, with a willingness to learn new tools as needed.
- Capability to conduct in-depth research to identify the sources of emerging risks and monitor their progression effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Demonstrates a well-rounded skill set with a quick and eager learning attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Possesses an analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Holds a B.S., B.Tech, B.Sc., M.Tech, or M.Sc. degree, with a preference for candidates with business and/or technical degrees.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in large datasets is a valuable asset.
- Knowledge of Python and familiarity with text representation techniques (e.g., n-grams, bag of words, sentiment analysis), statistics, and classification algorithms are preferred.
