Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deal control reviews in alignment with Global Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Payments Deal Booking requirements, identifying and documenting any gaps.
  • Ensure the sufficiency, adequacy, and completeness of all remediation actions across global requirements, maintaining consistency.
  • Assess underperforming CIB payments deals by identifying root causes and conducting additional ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests, escalate issues as necessary, and support the enforcement of the regression process.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, business managers, and other stakeholders to drive next steps, such as organizing additional training sessions or office hours.
  • Participate in team initiatives, focusing on simplifying, improving, and adding value to existing business processes and controls.
  • Prepare reports and presentations, leveraging data insights to uncover opportunities and drive business growth.

  • Possess a college degree.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, strong organizational skills, dependability, and the ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities, mentoring, and coaching skills to support junior team members.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective and confident communication abilities (both verbal and written).
  • Excel in time management, with an entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter attitude, capable of delivering results within tight timelines.
  • Show discipline in managing processes with a solid understanding of risk and control implications.
  • Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale behind design decisions.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize work assignments to deliver high-quality results consistently within deadlines.
  • Exhibit curiosity and a willingness to learn, with the ability to delve into details when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and a continuous focus on design excellence.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Pivot Tables.
  • Be self-motivated, tenacious, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess some leadership or oversight experience.
