Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Red Hat product diagnostic automation software using a Python-based framework.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex Linux issues by reviewing knowledge-base documentation, analyzing problem records, reproducing issues, and creating problem scenarios.
- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to identify known problematic product configurations, environments, or usage patterns.
- Actively contribute to product design, team discussions, development processes, and documentation.
- Write clear and maintainable code, ensuring it facilitates collaboration and readability.
- Design and develop front-end components to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with developers across multiple regions to ensure seamless integration and development efforts.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and data structures.
- Basic proficiency and hands-on experience with Python.
- 1+ years of experience in software development.
- Working knowledge and experience with JavaScript and React.
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript is an added advantage.
- Understanding of modern web development practices.
- User-level and administrative experience with Linux systems is a plus.
- Strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-motivated, creative, and capable of working independently or as part of a globally distributed team.
- Contributions to open-source projects are a bonus.
