Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the Data Analytics (DA) strategy as outlined by Internal Audit (IA) management, focusing on audit responsibilities, including audit planning, development of analytical tools, and delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Collaborate with audit teams to identify risks within business processes, facilitate strategic data sourcing, and create innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit testing.
- Develop production-ready analytical tools to automate repeatable and reusable processes within Internal Audit operations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships and clear communication with audit team members to support cohesive and effective collaboration.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess 1-3 years of relevant experience with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Proficient in working with RDBMS/SQL for data management and querying.
- Skilled in programming languages such as Python, with familiarity in text analytics and Natural Language Processing (NLP) using Python.
- Strong understanding of basic statistics and statistical modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of time series analysis, correlation, regression, predictive modeling, and their application to data.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey relevant and important information.
- A strong team player capable of handling multiple tasks effectively.
- Contributes significantly as a member of the Data Science team, aiding in the development of analytical capabilities for the Internal Audit Division.
- Motivated and driven, with a proactive approach to improving performance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning such as Linear/Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machines (SVM), Random Forest, and Boosting.
- Exposure to clustering and pattern recognition techniques.
- Experience with visualization tools like Spotfire, QlikView, or Tableau is a plus.
- Demonstrates creativity and innovation, with the ability to develop new ways to improve current processes and deliver practical solutions that add value to the department.
