Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to issue ownership.
- Reduce support costs and effort through the elimination of operational issues, task optimization, automation, and the development of operational tools, while promoting client self-service.
- Identify and prioritize technical debt that risks system stability or leads to inefficient operational efforts.
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions.
- Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Monitor automation performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored automation solutions.
- Apply DevOps, Agile, Scrum, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles effectively in the development process.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of four to five years of industry experience in software development.
- Demonstrate strong development skills in Java, particularly in building medium to large-scale multi-threaded applications.
- Proficient in scripting with Python and Shell.
- Experienced in web programming and working with REST/SOAP APIs.
- Solid experience in SQL queries and database management, including DB2, Sybase, or Snowflake databases, along with DB reporting.
- Skilled in creating automation test suites, implementing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and managing automated deployments.
- Strong system knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and infrastructure setup, including load balancing.
- Experienced in using configuration and release management tools such as Ansible, GitHub, or similar tools.
