Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Materials and Deal Support: Collaborate with colleagues in Mumbai and across regional locations to create marketing materials such as company profiles, public information brochures, bulletins, benchmarking analyses, pricing updates, earnings summaries, treasury pitching materials, credit analyses, and competitor analyses. Provide execution project support to teams in various geographies.
- Financial Analysis: Develop an understanding of financial statements and learn to analyze them. Create trading and transaction comparables, valuation models, and financial metric benchmarks for various companies.
- Research: Gather and interpret company and industry information from diverse sources, including company reports, online databases, J.P. Morgan proprietary content, and the Internet. Develop insights on specific industries and track them for developments, potential opportunities, and new client prospecting.
- Industry or Product Coverage: Partner with colleagues in Mumbai and regional locations to study and apply industry or geographic market fundamentals, such as the impact of economic and market conditions, competitive landscapes, risks, and trends, for clients worldwide. Track specific clients, emerging sectors, or product themes to generate potential pitch ideas.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Undergraduate degree from a reputable institution with an excellent academic record and a strong passion for building a career in finance.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and concisely.
- High attention to detail and capability to deliver high-quality work under pressure while efficiently managing multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong teamwork skills, demonstrating integrity and the ability to collaborate with teams across different geographies.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical mindset and quantitative skills.
- Familiarity with banking solutions and services, along with basic knowledge of analyzing company financials and financial modeling using MS Office tools, is an added advantage.
