Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of testing processes and facilitate exit criteria evaluation.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the data model, data flow, and end-to-end solutions and processes.
- Analyze current operating models against target models to inform transition approaches and conduct change impact assessments.
- Support transition efforts and assess progress, adjusting approaches as needed to ensure the successful embedding of new operating models and realization of benefits.
- Evaluate change impacts against the Target Operating Model (TOM) and collaborate with Change & Implementation (C&I) teams to create a cohesive change portfolio, minimizing disruption to business operations and addressing program gaps or overlaps.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change management activities.
- Provide regular feedback on task completion and track project status throughout the lifecycle.
- Manage all regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring alignment with operational risk management frameworks.
- Oversee and monitor adherence to mandatory standards, group policies, and governance tools.
- Communicate change impacts to stakeholders and escalate risks or issues to appropriate governance bodies with proposed mitigation strategies.
- Manage project or program resourcing activities to ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong understanding of finance data principles and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Highly proficient in querying and analyzing databases using SQL.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Access and Excel for data investigation and output generation.
- Exposure to Python and PowerBuilder is advantageous for streamlining and accelerating processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of systems delivery lifecycles and testing methodologies.
- Proficient in using test management tools (e.g., Quality Centre) and implementing test processes, including defect management.
- Ability to formulate effective test strategies and confidently lead successful test phases.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes is a plus.
- Holds a minimum of a master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in testing IT system implementations or enhancements in large organizations.
- Previous experience in a large banking organization is preferred.
